Glooko Releases GestationalCare Module for Diabetes in Pregnancy

Glooko has introduced GestationalCare, a pregnancy-specific module for its ambulatory diabetes management program. The module configures Glooko to monitor gestational, Type 2, and Type 1 diabetes throughout pregnancy.

Glucose patterns and treatment needs can shift rapidly, yet care decisions often rely on fragmented data from paper logs, portal images, spreadsheets, and disconnected device downloads. GestationalCare was designed to help maternal-fetal medicine, OB/GYN, endocrinology, diabetes education, and nursing teams move from fragmented review to a structured, pregnancy-specific workflow.

The tool helps clinicians identify patients who might need attention, assess pregnancy-specific glucose patterns against fasting and mealtime targets, and review relevant patient history in a focused clinical view. The workflow also supports care between visits through secure communication, call requests, education, and mobile tools, while helping maintain continuity through the postpartum transition.

The launch expands Glooko’s ambulatory platform by combining device-neutral data review, population insights, patient engagement, and EHR-connected workflows. Modules like GestationalCare, according to the company, let organizations tailor the platform to specific service lines while supporting broader diabetes management.

Last month, the Palo Alto, California-based company further expanded its partnership with mylife Diabetes Care, with Glooko serving as mylife’s primary data management platform for its products.
